Nachdem der „griechische Professor“ die (Ab-)Gründe für den Verkauf des Porsche Klassikers geschildert hatte, erklärte mich bereit, meinen Traumwagen von Athen aus verschiffen zu lassen.

I will explain you step by step how this will work :
A. First you have to send me your shipping information (your name & address/phone number).
1. After I receive your info, I will go to shipping company Location and leave the car onto your name and with your shipping address as the intended receiver.
2. The transport company service will check the car also the legal papers to see that everything is OK with it.
B. You will receive a notification from shipping company service as a confirmation that the car is in their custody and also, that the car has been tested and ready for shipping.
1. They will request you a security payment, you will have to deposit 10% of the total price of the car to shipping company account to proof that you have the money ready for the car. This not means that you are obligate to will buy the car  for 100 % when you will receive it. Your deposit will stay in their account in safe and nobody can`t take it until you will receive the car  and decide if you want to buy it or not.
2. The transport company service will verify the Transfer, and if everything is in order, they will deliver the car  to your door step.
3. After you will receive the car  and you will be completely satisfied with it, you will instruct the shipping company service with your decision.
C. If by any reason, you will not be satisfied with the product, you will return the car to the company with no expense or extra costs from your side.
I will support all the taxes and feeds because is my responsibility. You will have a 5 days to inspect the car and if you are not satisfied in it you can reject it without any problems and the company will return your deposit back without any questions. The delivery will take 3-4 days.
If you agree with my idea please provide me your full name and address for shipping, so I can initiate the transaction through the transport company service.
They will contact you by phone with all the details regarding our transaction ( tracking number, delivery time, payment method, contract of sale, etc.).

Please read carefully all the terms and conditions and if you understand and accept please let me know your details so we can start the shipping.

Die Antwort kam postwendend. Und zwar nicht nur mit einem – wieder sehr ausführlichen – Mail. Diesmal gab es „for your safety“ auch noch den 100% originalen Scan des 100% echten griechischen Personalausweises. Der renommierte Bio-Mediziner hat ganz offensichtlich keine Verträge mit dem Datenschutz. Hauptsache weg mit der alten Möhre.

Na dann ist ja alles in Olivenöl oder? Nur noch Adresse angeben, Geld überweisen und keine drei Wochen später fahre ich 911 S 2.4 Coupé. Oder etwa nicht? Mein Gefühl riet mir, an dieser Stelle die Kommunikation abzubrechen und mich mal bei einem bekannten KFZ-Portal danach zu erkundigen, wie solche Geschäfte in der Regel weiterlaufen. Soviel vorab. Nicht jeder ist so schlau das zu tun. Und Geschichten wie die des griechischen Porsche 911 führen täglich dazu, dass gutgläubige „Käufer“ erhebliche finanzielle Verluste erleiden.
